TIPS FOR CRUISING GIBRALTAR

MARINAS IN GIBRALTAR

MID-HARBOUR MARINA
The new Mid-Harbour Marina, completed in 2016, has 500 metres of berthing facilities on the outside for super yachts with a minimum chartered depth of 6.0 metres, and deeper in most parts, within relatively sheltered harbour waters.
If visiting vessels would like to make use of the Mid-Harbour Marina facility, then
they should contact their nominated Gibraltar agent for bookings.

OCEAN VILLAGE & MARINA BAY
At the “gateway to the Mediterranean” are Gibraltar’s award-winning marinas; Ocean Village and neighbouring Marina Bay. They offer a sheltered and ideally located base for yachts and motorboats with friendly help and professional advice available 24/7 from the centrally located Pier Office. The town centre and Gibraltar International Airport are both within easy reach once you are onshore.
The Marina is currently under refurbishment works.

QUEENSWAY QUAY MARINA
Queensway Quay Marina, formerly part of Taylor Woodrow’s waterside development, became privately owned in 2001. It has an impressive backdrop of residential complexes and a choice of stylish restaurants and bars. The Marina is just a short walk from shops in the town centre. Queensway Quay was originally developed in 1994 as a marina with two Mediterranean-style residential complexes of 125 and 56 apartments. With a maximum depth of 4.5 metres, the marina can accommodate yachts up to 90 metres in length. All berths have power and water. All pontoons are accessed through a security gate with pass numbers.

DID YOU KNOW THAT...?
- In Gibraltar you can do bunkering with duty-free fuel.
- Gibraltar is the nearest non-EU port when entering the Med. This means that upon arrival to Gibraltar the vessel has officially left European waters and the 18-month temporary importation period may be reactivated.
- As Gibraltar is a non-European zone you can receive your spares in transit if you are non-EU flagged and we can provide you bonded store for this plus customs services to have your goods exempt in your arrival. If you are European flagged and commercially registered for charter, check with our Customs department on how to visit Gibraltar with proper customs documentation ahead and backwards.
